All policies under the Barisan Nasional have been moderate and progressive as Umno upholds diversity and multi-ethnic groups living harmoniously under the same roof.

He said this when asked to comment on current issues – name of local whisky Timah come under attack, liquor ban in Kuala Lumpur and gambling ban in Kedah which see Malaysia becoming more Islamic in the latest development.
